Amazing! I had no idea what I was reading. I did know it was an MC book. This book is different in so many ways. Loved each character. Amity Cross has developed a new kind of craving for mc books.

This author has ruin (in a good way) other mc books. The book feels real and raw.

I look forward to reading the next book. I need to read the next, is more like it. I have to know where does this go, how will it end, what is next for them. Will he be able to solve his past? Will she be able to become like him and still be able to help him?

I don’t want to go on to much. I don’t even think you need to read the blurb or teasers or anything else to yourself to read this book.

*Is the book worth the price? Yes!
*Do I want to read more of Amity Cross’ books? Yes!

Yes, a quick short story. Plot and characters were good. Some scenes a little to rushed or a little too easy. Some scenes I am rolling my eyes going really.
I liked the beginning, the middle was ok, but the end just lacked. The end to me was a bit rushed.

Other than that, I am at a loss for words. I did not really click with this story much. Therefore, you will find all three of my reviews the same.

But, don’t worry. I take you to the deep end gradually. 😉

There are many sexual situations in this series of books. People die. People get hurt. Things aren’t always truly the way they appear. The antagonist isn’t just a bad guy; he’s EVIL. My heroine’s worldview is skewed; things that may appall you are perfectly normal to her.

Any violence in this book is non-gratuitous and crucial to the plot and character development.

Do not read this if you are under the age of consent in your country. Do not get angry if the subject or actual book upsets you. If you’re reading this, you’ve been warned.

Reclaimed by River Savage 3 Stars – What! How can it be?

Yes, River is a fantastic writer at expressing emotions. Yes, I know it is a short story. It is a continuation of Nix and Kadence and what happens after they have a baby.

The story line flows. The characters are great for each other. I can relate with Kadence’s story with breastfeeding and postpartum depression. But there are some details lacking and a scene that would not happen in real life that drives me crazy.

Problem 1: Nix son Z. How long is that kind going to be 11?

Problem 2: The men are at the club talking about their personal feeling and sex life. There is no way this shit happens between men, especially at an MC. I know the club has been cleaning up their reputation, but the scenes of Nix discussing his personal life makes him look weak, makes all of them look weak. At first I thought I was going crazy with this thought, so I asked me husband. His response was, “hell no, that shit will always be private, you talk to your boys about hoes, not your wife and family shit.”

Like I said River does a wonderful job with emotion. But the writer forgets the MC she created is one that IS still trying to be a little hard but legal. Hell, she even brings up a turf war is about to go down with another MC.

Problem 3: Major foreshadowing in this book of what to expect for the next book with Beau and the other club. I knew completely how the plot for Affliction was going to read. Sy’s story was a common and used before in other books I have read previously, but the details were better. Therefore, I looked at it differently. But the foreshadowing is losing my interest and desire to read the next one or two stories.

Now I know how defensive all the author’s fans will become from this review. I see comments from the author’s fans and it crazy; it’s like a lynching mob. No one thinks. All the fans are so quick to just accept whatever the author says and run with it. And I know this will up-set the author and I will probably see some post later about this review in the most negative way. SMH…

But I did promise my Blog and viewers for an honest review. So at this time, with a heavy heart I will no longer review for this author. I do not feel that this author is as professional as she thinks she is with her fans. I did love it at first how she puts herself out there, but her attitude of “my way, my way, my way” is very annoying and rude. She is quick to accuse and create a riot with post and comments.

If the author does not mean to do this, well one should look at her writing. Words express it all.

It been a blast on this journey, but I am jumping off the bandwagon and onto the next one. Peace out!
