               My Review

I feel like I waited an awful long time for this book. I read predominantly Hockey romance. I.do enjoy football books but I don’t seem to get quite as hooked. Then someone suggested Karla Sorenson’s Washington Wolves series and I was enthralled. I binge read the whole series and then waited extremely impatiently for Focussed. I fell in love with Molly all over again and I think she is the most fantastic of characters. She is strong and bold but also feminine and vulnerable. She made her choices with conviction and evem though she knew there could be harsh consequences she went after what she wanted. She was feisty and yet protective of Noah.. She was adamant about not putting him in a bad position and also that he was only portrayed in the best possible light. Little did she know that it was her that brought that out in him! Noah was fantastic. He tried with everything to fight what he felt but Molly was just too all consuming. How he loved her and handled her was just a joy to read.
Several times I shouted ‘no don’t do it ‘ or had a knot of anxiety when I could just see it coming. Like car crash reading. You knew there was going to be an impact nut couldn’t turn yourself away..

The sisters were at always fantastic, just a little more grown and I am beyond excited to see where their stories take me

So this was a book I was very excited to read. I mean the blurb and trope and everything about it was so inviting. But after I read it I can say it was absolutely not I what I was expecting! In a good and bad way both I think.

The book was interesting to say the least. It starts off very messy in the way it is written. Some quotes had me going “huh?” I think the author was trying too hard with her writing especially since in the beginning it was only teenagers speaking like old poets.

The story was and idea of the book were great but weren’t executed properly in my opinion. At most times I had no idea what was happening. I think the author just went overboard with trying to explain things and ended up writing more than she needed to to finish the book. However, like I said overall it was a good idea but because of its over the top lengthy-ness it took me a while to reach the end.

That being said, I think I will definitely give this author another chance and try to read some other books of hers. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

HELLO GUYS! I’m so late with my review and I apologize for that. I just had so much on my plate and I didnt know what to do or where to begin. I’m finally getting caught up so here it goes.

THIS. BOOK. GUYS. So much angst and drama and emotion ahhhh I could not handle it. I haven’t read many other books but Tijan but from what I have read her characters always have that sense of melodrama to then. I did like this book and it was a good read for me.

I did sympathize with the heroine and could understand most of her decision. I felt bad for her and liked that she was for the most part independent and fierce. The hero just did not do it for me. There was a huge push and pull throughout the book and he was misleading and messing with our heads which was kind of crazy!

Overall I would say it was an enjoyable read. I’m giving it 3 stars because it was very slow in the beginning and hard to get into, there wasn’t a proper “enemies” in the enemies to lovers and because I had a hard time connecting and believing the hero.

That being said I would still reccomend this book to anyone looking for something angsty and dramatic. And I will definitely be checking out future releases by Tijan!

So I read this book a while ago and I thought I might post a review. It is the second book in the All Saints High series (which itself is a spin off from the the Sinners of Saints series).

I enjoyed the book a lot judging by the fact that I read it in one sitting. Knight Cole was a typical high school hot jock and his childhood best friend/love is Luna Rexroth. The dynamic between these two was so cool I loved them. A lot of the other characters make an appearance in this book too and it was really fun to read about them.

While it might not be my favourite (Pretty Reckless still holds that title) I do reccomend this series to anyone who has read and enjoyed the original Sinners of Saint series. I definitely think you will love it!

I am very excited to read about Vaughn’s story in Angry God which comes out next year in 2020!
