Abel – 5th Street #4

Abel

Coming off the worst divorce in the history of marriages, Nellie Gamboa’s looking to let loose and make up for years of neglect. When months of building sexual tension between her and the young hot boxing stud, Abel Ayala, finally peak, she makes him an offer no man would refuse.

No promises. No demands. Just pure unrestrained passion.

Abel’s training for the biggest fight of his career. He has no time for a social life, much less a relationship. So this arrangement couldn’t be more perfect. A beautiful woman asking him to help her alleviate her neglected desires—no strings attached. What more can he ask for?

As the lines between lust and something much deeper, begin to blur, Abel finds himself in an even bigger fight.

The fight to regain control of his now demanding heart

*Fanning myself*

Elizabeth Reyes did it again. I mean really, was there ever really any doubt?

Abel Ayala is Hot Hot Hot. His body – oh man! I mean he has to be fit – he is about to face the biggest fight of his life to try and take the Heavyweight title. He is so intense that he needs to blow of a bit of steam. When this is offered to him on a plate by Nellie Gamboa – well how could the man refuse. Just out the other side of the divorce from hell, Nellie has shaped up and reinvented herself. She wants to loosen up and reckons a no strings attached, hot sex affair with Abel will help her do just that. Their respective best friends Roni and Noah are up in a heap. They don’t believe they can do this without one of them getting hurt and fear what that will do the their friendships and the group dynamic.

Both Nellie and Abel are at pains to tell them they are cool with this arrangement. So when pictures show up in the tabloids with several women hanging out of Abel and Nellie has a couple of dates and Abel see’s her kiss someone else, its all cool. Right?

Haha yeah whatever!! Sparks are gonna fly and you are gonna want to be around to watch the fireworks!! With Abel meant to concentrating and keeping his head in the game how is he gonna cope when some serious shit hits the fan?

This has to be Elizabeth Reyes best book since…. well her last book. I first read Forever Mine, the first book in the Moreno Brothers Series way back last year and loved it. Then I read the second one and that was my new favourite. Well it has gone on like that ever since. Elizabeth is the Queen of angst and romance, she really is. If you have ever read one of her books, well I am confident in saying if you have read one you have read them all, I am pretty sure you will agree.

I was biting down on my fist at one stage in this book saying “no, no, no Nellie don’t do it” I was that caught up in it. Did she do it? She just might have – I guess you will just have to read it and find out.

Unputdownable. Thats what this book is. I only started it yesterday afternoon and finished it about an hour ago. The only problem is now we have to wait for the next one. Before we get Felix’s story though we get Brandon’s. Remember Brandon? He was in love with Sofie way back in Sweet Sofie, which don’t get me wrong I am dying to read but I haven’t had enough of my 5th Street boys yet. God I would love to live inside Elizabeth Reyes’ head.
